Rosa Lee | Rest & Be
Singer • Songwriter • Musician
Rosa Lee, a singer-songwriter, creates music from the heart — calming the weary, seeking hope in unexpected places, finding the sacred in ordinary life, and making room for humor and the occasional hard topic.
Her music offers warmth, truth, and quiet courage while celebrating joy, playfulness, and resilience — uplifting the spirit, encouraging kindness, and choosing compassion over cruelty.
Finding hope in unexpected places.

Rest & Be
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves punishment. The one who fears has not been made perfect in love.”
Living in an intimate relationship with Love,
resting in a deep understanding of perfect love,
being free of the fear and worry of punishment
— disintegrate fear’s power.
Fear may come, yet it must go.

About
Rosa Lee | Rest & Be
I’m Rosa Lee, a singer-songwriter and the creator of Rest & Be.
My songs grow from stories, questions, faith, family, memory, and the ordinary moments that stay with us. Some songs begin with something I remember. Others begin with a phrase, a melody, a conversation, a question that keeps asking to be explored, or something that settles into my heart and stays there until it becomes a song.
Creating music is not only about making a certain sound with pretty words. The lyrics and music must work together to share a meaning.
The song has to earn its lyrics.
I use a mixture of traditional songwriting, recording, music-production tools, and newer creative technologies as part of my process. No matter which tools I use, the heart of the song—its story, meaning, direction, and final choices—comes from me.
For decades, God has been teaching me how to Rest & Be. I’ll be sharing more about that in Stories.
Life can be so chaotic. Each of us needs time to stop, breathe, and rest. Then we step back into the world and simply be who we are.
I hope you find a song that helps you drop your shoulders and breathe.
